02 — What We Do

Four disciplines.
One signature on every report.

From the first boring through the final certificate of occupancy — geotechnical engineering, materials testing, QA/QC, and special inspection delivered by Licensed Professional Engineers under one roof.

"ETS is the only Geotechnical Testing and Inspection Services team to have worked in QC or QA on all significant Tunnel Expansions: the Midtown Tunnel / MLK Expressway Expansion, the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, and the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel."

03 — Project Oversight

Engineering & Testing Services provides a full range of Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Project Management services led by a team of licensed Professional Engineers and Construction Managers to ensure cost savings, quality work, and minimized risk.

Our Quality Control process begins with the initial project review, where we assess the scope of work and identify the specific quality requirements that must be met. We then create a detailed project plan outlining the procedures, methods, and equipment necessary to meet those requirements. Throughout the project life cycle, our Quality Assurance team continuously monitors and inspects all work performed to ensure compliance with the approved project plan and applicable codes and regulations — using state-of-the-art equipment for non-destructive testing and evaluations, with meticulous records documenting all work performed.

We regularly review and update our Quality Control and Quality Assurance program to reflect the latest industry standards and best practices, and provide ongoing training and education to our staff.
